Baccangela Customs manages the full paperwork process for cargo moving through Zimbabwe in transit, from the point of entry to the point of exit. We have particular strength in the transit of machinery, agricultural products, mining chemicals and fuel. We regularly handle fuel moving in transit from Mozambique to Zambia, and grain moving in transit from Zambia, Mozambique and Malawi through to South Africa. We also apply for the necessary permits and licences on our clients' behalf, and once a vehicle enters Zimbabwe we take ownership of the process end to end — reporting breakdowns and accidents to ZIMRA, logging arrivals, and mitigating fines where they arise.

We clear a wide range of imports for consumption within Zimbabwe. This includes fast-moving consumer goods such as beverages, as well as animal feeds, agricultural chemicals and machinery for the farming sector. We also handle import clearances for the aviation industry, covering spare parts and small aircraft, and provide consumption clearance for individuals importing vehicles or machinery in SKD or CKD form. For the mining sector, we clear machinery, chemicals and spare parts, keeping operations supplied and compliant.

Baccangela Customs also clears goods leaving Zimbabwe. We have strong experience exporting agricultural produce, particularly fruit, from Zimbabwe into Zambia and South Africa, and we support miners at the border in exporting minerals to destinations such as South Africa. Where required, we assist clients in securing the relevant export permits.

For goods removed from any port of entry, we manage the complete Removal in Bond process, handling final clearance inland so clients can move cargo efficiently without delays at the border.

Baccangela Customs specialises in the clearance of oversized, heavy and cumbersome cargo, ensuring it is transported safely whether loaded into standard shipping containers or moved by trailer. Our special-load experience covers power transformers, cranes, drilling rigs, factory machinery and light aircraft, among other exceptional cargo types.

Baccangela Customs assists tourists and visitors with vehicles cleared under Temporary Import Permits. If a TIP is due to expire before the visitor leaves the country, we liaise with ZIMRA on their behalf to arrange an extension. We also help clients make the required payments to ZIMRA, including carbon tax.

Baccangela Customs handles the clearance of excisable goods, including wines, beer and tobacco among others. We prepare and submit monthly excise returns on behalf of our clients and process the associated excise duty payments on importation, keeping clients compliant without the administrative burden.

Baccangela Customs facilitates Authorised Temporary Import Permits (ATIPs) for commercial goods brought into the country temporarily and free of duty. We arrange ATIPs for construction equipment, drilling rigs, trade samples and hired vehicles, including aircraft, and we manage permit extensions on our clients' behalf when needed.

Baccangela Customs provides comprehensive border facilitation services. We help clients apply for the permits and licences required when transporting goods, and advise on the documentation needed for smooth clearance. We settle payments to Zimbabwean stakeholders on our clients' behalf and facilitate acquittals, along with payment of toll fees, road access charges, carbon taxes and CVGs (Cross-border Vehicle Gate fees).
